Tom,

So many hearts have gone out to you and your family. Betty and I share both your grief but also your faith in the Lord. (As do all your old friends at Christian Challenge.) These trail markers always carry a message from heaven. Each time a loved one goes home it gives us times to reflect on our own journey. It reminds me of the old gospel song that says, ‘It won’t be long, til Jesus comes. I’ve never been to heaven, but I know I’ll feel at home.’

I watch the two videos of Katie. What a beautiful young lady. Thanks for sharing them.

Buddy, my wife and I certainly enjoyed your comments on the valley of Baca. We are passing through our own valley of Baca while we miss Katie. She was a special young woman and we will always hold her in our hearts. This passing will certainly be a “trail marker” in our walk with Him. Thanks Buddy for your words of encouragement while we walk through our Baca. Katelyn was a beautiful daughter, going through a rougher time in her life, but was still holding on to Jesus. We look forward to seeing her again, and the knowledge is, as you say, a “trail marker” in our walk with Christ. I am so thankful for the years that He let me be Katie’s daddy, and now He has taken over that task. Enjoying your teaching, my dear friend and looking forward to living down the street from you once we get “clothed with our heavenly tabernacle.” Blessings to you and your dear family.
